I have drums on the front of my XW and I see some xf disc brakes for sale for 70$ and was wondering if they would fit on my Xw or if I have to get Xy disc brakes.. even then will XY ones fit ??

The spindle is what the disc rotor bolts to. Best bet is to go to a wrecking yard and get everything you need off a wreck. There must be plenty of dead XFs still laying around the place. You'll probably have to put a new master cylinder on the car as w

You will need to replace your master cylinder or remove the residual line pressure valve from the front circuit of yours ti fit disc brakes. Yes the XF ones will fit as long as you use the XA-XF disc brake sub axle.
