hg monaro numbers seem wrong Options

Everywhere i have looked its telling me that there were 6147 hg monaros made. Why is the stamp on the firewall of mine read( HG 07093 A )???

Adelaide and Sydney also numbered theie cars, so check your body plate to see which Monaro/GTS or GTS350 that you have. Warren

From what i gather its a gts adelaide built. unsure if its a 6 or 8 cyl have you any clue from the numbers?? The fire wall reads hg 07093A
