Using a kill switch with a Bosch MEC 717 Electronic Transformer ignition coil in a 79 XD Falcon causes these type of coils to break down. If your Falcon is not computer managed how have you made it thief proof ? or what have you done to prevent it from being stolen ??

My brother in law has a battery isolator switch mounted into the bulkhead behind the drivers seat. he keeps the red plastic key on his keyring with the regular key and has a quick disconnect fitting so he can detatch it, plug it in to get the current flo

I had one car that had a hidden switch that you had to hold down while turning the car over, which was a latching relay to the fuel pump. The switch was inside the gear **** boot so no one knew it was there. Just push down on the corner of the boot when

There are plenty of effective electronic devices but I think these should be combined with something highly visable. It is not much fun having your car saved by a concealed switch after the thief has already broken a window and smashed the steering lock

You can make up a simple kill switch by hooking it up to your ignition system. Or you can just take off your coil lead or rotor button she won't fire up without that :)
