253 VN heads & 308 crank??? Options

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 18/08/2006(UTC) Posts: 34		Hi, in have a 253 and a set of vn heads i was going to put on. I read in eariler comments that it may lose torque. I also have in my garage a 308 crank. If i built the engine with 253 block 308 crank mild cam and the vn heads with a carby and m20 4 speed. Would i be wasting my time ????????????????? Or just run into too many problems!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

I can give you a grunt hunt article that street machine perfomed on a 253. They made 336 hp. You'll also save money doing things the right way, and use a

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that
