Hi petaus.
It's best to calculate exactly what economy figures you're currently getting. I do this for a living & the 2 things you have to do before you even open the bonnet is, 1. check that your speedometer (or odometer) is correct (most aren't) and |

Hi petaus.
13.2 L/100 km is a good figure for Sydney traffic. By all means try hi-octane, but I would check more tank-fulls than just one. I'm surprised by the difference of over 2 L/100 km between E10 & standard unleaded, it's usually around 1 to 1.5 |

When I used a K&N pod filter on my VR (3.8), I went from 500K per tank mixed driving to around 550K. The best I ever got was a cold weather run from Wellington to Auckland, where I managed just over 700K from the tank.
