I agree with you Warren....consistency is the key, but like it or not I have a different set of rules to you. I believe a muscle car should look and sound the part and come from the muscle car era which is a far less technical method than yourself and oth

An Alternator had 9 diodes to convert the AC to DC, three for the regulator and 6 for the battery. The last time I looked a Diode was an electronic component. They are almost a transistor. The only reason for the generator is the mchanical rectifier, whic

I thought the RS2000 in its early guise was the only Escort with the 2L engine - if im wrong then I agree with you. What I was getting at was that the 2L RS2000 engine was from memory a standard 2L Cortina engine, and as such was a little bigger than the |

Byron, Not denying there are awesome cars after 77, but to me and probably quite a few purist's, they would fall under the catagory of performance cars and not Muscle Cars.
I'm sure the debate of what is considered a Muscle car will continue long afte

You could get a v6 SS in the VS Commodore range. (might be VR but commodorenut will know exactly which one, they are very rare. I know he will be watching)

Agree Byron, VK Group A was an outstanding car in performance terms, I had a Brock VK Calais from near new many years ago, 304 cu" and 5 Speed manual trans, and I'm ashamed to say it would beat my belovered Z/28 Camaro in a straight line for sure. I stil

Warren you are no doubt right and this discussion probably doesnt belong here (my bad), but to me being an Electrical Engineer and working in heavy industry, electronics is printed circuit boards and in the case of 1960s technology discrete op amp boards |
