My wires are all hooked up to my chev but ive got this problem with my ignition. When I turn it there is a little plastic sprocket in the column that jumps the teeth on the shaft that goes down to ign box.
I then cant turn it far enough to start car. I then take it apart and put it right but it keeps doing the same thing.. I even brought a new plastic sprocket. that the ign goes into but no luck..
Any one have any answers to this?? sick of taking it apart
Cheers in advance

This is what I mean when this problem arised. Is it the ignition switch to hard to push causing the jumping of sprocket. Is it the small spring steel not pushing hard enough on the rod. Is the housing warn. Is the sprocket teeth to worn. Its ok if yo |
