After approx 3 months of hard yakka,my backyard EFI project using my original pre-pollution manifold, and VN V8/V6 hardware and any other Holden bits and pieces i could scavenge from the wreckers and V8 Delco software with modified V6 loom into a V8 loom, the beast came alive today. It started, idled quite well, and took it for a drive and drives very well with no major hiccups considering no VSS fitted yet.Done a short d/l dump of files onto Winaldl/Winview and will suss out all calibrations so i can modify the files to extract more power/economy/idle/etc. Project was done because i wanted to learn to TIG weld, fabricate my own parts, use ONLY holden bits and pieces i could get/modify,get familiar with Delco EFI hardware/software. My next step is to learn to modify the files and burn to my memcal. I could have used all the VN top end and be done with it,but i wanted the challenge and wanted to keep my engine bay semi original in my HJ coupe. ALL the work was done in my shed/lounge room and the biggest cost was 2 bottles of Argon for my TIG welder. Cheers....Mario http://s199.photobucket....t=EFIManifoldpaint5.jpg

Hey mario,
I agree I reckon the Delco 808 is a great EFI set up. im running mine on a Harrop dual plane manifold with EFI hardware throttle body.
I also put mine together from a V6 loom, and all wrecker sourced parts, it sure beats stuffing about w
