As the heading suggest I havea VK Calais 202 efi that is having a variation in RPM's while it sits at idle. Idles fine then raises a few revs then drops back to idling fine and after a few seconds will do it again. Engine has been rebuilt, fuel is a bit low but I dont think its enough to worry about, still 3 red marks on the guage. Any suggestions?

Could be heaps of things electircally; TPS - idle contact, AFM (wiring or vacuum), control unit, Air temp sensor (in AFM), coolant temp sensor, Aux air valve circuit, ign coil - control relay circuit, inj circuit. Faulty EGR, vac advance setup wrong. Edited by user Wednesday, 28 November 2007 12:32:19 AM(UTC)
