hi there guys i have an xb and since i lowered it in the rear (2 inches) have a slight vibration at about 100.....the tailshaft got balanced about 12 months ago because it vibrated a little, but i know it wouldn't be that, i have heard that you can buy a spacer to put under the gearbox mount to put the tailshaft in the correct alignemnt again, is this true? if so where can you get them? thanks in advance.......Mark

What may help you more is aspacer or "wedge" between the leaf springs and the axle tubes. These wedges are readily available for use with traction bars and are very cheap. A spacer for the gear box will not change the angle of the pinion which i

I had the same issue when I lowered my XB. I put the lowering blocks above the leaf but ontop of the saddle. Which made a silly pinion angle. After multiple attempts trying to solve vibrations Going to tailshaft places (got the tailshaft done 3 times) and

hi guys, i have the same vibration problems with a 302W into 1970 capri. diff is a 9inch& C4 box.im onto my 2nd tailshaft but i think he gave me the wrong size uni's cos its still vibrating.im hoping the right size uni fixes the problem, goodluck fellow v
