Hi Guys,
I have a 79 F100 351 Cleveland, factory manual (4 Speed) but would like to swap it over for an auto (C6) can anyone tell me what I will need for the swap???
Steering Column (with Auto shift)
Pedal Assembly
Flywheel?
Gearbox
Tailshaft
Torque Converter

Will I need to find anything else??

Has your radiator got a tranny cooler in it? Don't forget your tranny cooler lines, your ring gear bolts are usually shorter than your flywheel bolts ( as its thinner). Also, don't forget to remove the spigot bearing in the back of the crankshaft. Merry X

hey vintage holden,
I know a bloke here in mathoura, who has a complete f100 83model, and he remodeled a tree with it,,but it is still mostly ok, motor auto diff etc?
let me know if you want to know more?

if u run through oil cooler u wont need to change radiator if it hasn't got fittings for auto . they can sometimes heat up oil to much running through radiator but if it does run through cooler as well

Thanks Swanny, I was hoping to run a trans oil cooler and not have to swap the original radiator that I have just had rebuilt! so thanks for the info
