Hi All,
Does anyone know if the power steering ratio in the whole WB series was 16.7:1 or was 20:1 also a WB ratio? What had what?
If I was to replace a power steering box would it be easy enough getting both types of ratios?
thanks Rhys

hi Dr Terry how did they manage to get the extra 'feel' into the power steering of the RTS Holdens? Was it to do with the length of the steering arms, or some other trick? TheHZs/WBs certainly seem to have more weighting and feel than the previous models

Hi Frank
There were several modifications that made them feel better, but most of it was the RTS suspension.
The torsion rod & the spool valve in the box were altered for better feel in the HZ/WB, but that alone doesnt make a huge difference. If you |

Thanks a lot for all of the information Dr Terry. At least now I know when I go and get a new power steering box it will be the correct/same ratio.
cheers Rhys
