Just after a bit of info on ABS module in a VT Gen3 .First of all where are they located ? And i have read in these forums that they can be responsible for a number of different warning lights coming on the dash is this correct?

The ABS 'module' on VT/VX/VY is the black plastic front section of the ABS actuator/pump unit on the driver's side underbonnet.

I dont have a listing in GM part numbers. I use the Bosch numbers which are actually on the white barcode label on the modules black plastic case.
If you quote me those numbers I can tell you which is which.

Hi all, I seem to suffering the same problem in my series 2 VT Calais. Two questions, Does anyone know where I could get a change over unit in Adelaide ? If I just pull the ABS fuse under the dash ( as a temp fix ) will this affect any other funtions,o

Hi Radio Head.
My listing says that an 0 273 004 588 suits a VY V6 WITHOUT TRACTION CONTROL, so this will not work in your VT V6, if yours has traction control. A VT V6 with traction requires an 0 273 004 348 or a 0 273 004 485

Thanks Dr Terry, I did try that yesterday but that seemed to give me the same fault lights as when it plays up,but if I just pulled the under dash fuse it only gave me the ABS and Traction off lights. I have noticed on other parts of the forums that you
