Hi All,
My VT (V6) exec has been cutting out while trying to start.
What i mean is you crank it , it fires for a split sec & cuts out & you can hear the engine fan kick in. Try again & it is ok. It has just started doing this & thought I should get it sorted asap.
Has anyone dealt with this before?

Cheers

Could be either a crank angle sensor on it's way out (does it do it more often when hot?). Also the fuel filter may be blocked and starves the engine for fuel on startup?

Just a thought

Hey Peter, I have only found it to do it on start up from cold or from only being driven around 5 mins (home to the shops & back)around 1/4 on temp gauge.

Cheers
