Hi All,
I tried starting the VT this morning & it only half cranked over then nothing.Turned key off & cranked a little then nothing.TRied a few more times then all good. Any idea's on what could be doing this at all. It has a new battery (1 month old)
Could this be the crank angle sensor ?
Are they easy to replace ?

Cheers

Hi Slamd Hk

Despite the similarity in name, the crank angle sensor has nothing to do with the starter motor cranking the engine over.

2 common problems for intermittent cranking are:-

1. Loose starter cable cable where it bolts to the starter sol
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
