Having some trouble with my commodores central locking. Both my remotes stopped working and both keys only unlock my drivers side door only, all other doors remain locked. When u push the lock up it springs back down. After looking in the owners manual i read that i have to turn the switch which i cant remember what its called, sorry, anticlockwise which is located near the door hinge on the passenger side door. Problem is as stated before the lock springs back down, the door remains locked and im unable to open the door. Even if i hold the lock up the door still wont unlock and open. Ive disconnected the battery and tried to do it like this it worked the first time and ive done it exactly the same this second time but it fails to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like its still deadlocked.
Check the passenger side door lock isnt locked in the deadlock (horizontal) position.
If its not, then its time to take off the door trim (drivers) and check the deadlock switch thats fitted to the side of the key barrel in the drivers door handle.

Cheers,

Mick

if you try and start car and red light ISNT flashing, no doubt you need a new BCM (or maybe just a key), if red light flashes youll just need new remote key :)

Try this simple test, put key in ignition, turn to on position, leave for anywhere from 20mins to 4hrs and try and start car (if red light is flashing car wont start). This will bypass the imoblizer so you can take it to a Holden dealer and get it repaired :)

Once the buttons break on commodore keys its time to gte them replaced, if any dirt, dust etc gets in them you wont be able to lock or unlock your car!
