All HQ-WB V8 plus all HQ-WB 1-tonner have a 10-bolt but there are differences. All crown and pinion gears are the same, but there are 4 x different centres: 2.6/2.78 and 3.08-4.44, LSD and non-LSD. The different diff assemblies are:

Ute and van.
Sedan

special-k, Hi careful on the diff ratio change. From memory 3.55 & 3.36 share a similar dimension housing and crown wheel carrier and 3.08 & 2.78 share another size housing as the more teeth there are on the pinion gear the further away the crown wheel ha

Housings are the same. Its the hemisphere thats different. Thats the reason why I stated there were 4 x different centres.

Yes, just use the hemisphere, crownwheel and pinion in the ute housing with ute axles (only because they came from there). For drum brake application axles are all interchangeable, even tonner axles (simply bigger, same splines).
