I was told that puting a polution manifold on pre-polution heads with the blank you put on the polution manifold will presurize the sump to much and make it leak oil. True or False? i have always used pre pollution heads but with edelbrock manifolds.

Yes to both questions. You can use the blue/black valley on the pre-pollution red heads (not pollution red). Just drill a hole in between the other two around the EGR hole and fit a bolt. It will go through the exhaust crossover but it doesnt matter as th

One may exist. The 308 in a Bedford had a 2 barrel Rochester but I haven't yet confirmed if the heads were blue or red. The engine has a HEI dizzy. I'm still chasing and E, M and S series Bedford parts catalogue to tell for sure.

Hi Byron.

That's why I worded the answer "- in a Holden". The Bedford heads are Blue & the manifold suits a Rochester 2-Jet, but it's in a Bedford not in a Holden.

Out of interest, do the Holden c
