Hi all
Would just like to canvass some opinion on this.
A local garage I use from time to time tends to put the new small type oil filters on a 202 when they do a grease and oil change.

The guy tells me they are the ones you normally put on a LS1.
Can anyone tell me if this is a good thing to do or should you stick to the original large type ones?
Thanks for any opinions

I used to use them as well on the 202 when I had it. The oil pressure comes up quicker with a smaller filter & the lifters don't rattle as much.

The seem to work fine to me, but then I do change the oil and filter every 5000km.

For the la

I use the short ones on my 253 in a HT because they give better clearance for the bottom radiator hose. A larger filter will naturally be better because of the larger area for filtration, which will allow longer intervals between changes. I chnage my oil
