Thanbks byron, thats the same info I was after. So where is the speedo cable position for the V8 model in comparison to the 6? Did the LSD Diff come optioned with the 6?

Your depth of knowlege still astounds me!

Thanks again;

I think the LSD would have been an option, the HR had an optional LSD.

In HK V8 is towards centre of firewall. 6cyl is under the brake booster. V8 has both holes with the 6cyl one having a speedo cable grommet in it.
LSD was optional for 6cyl, standard in V8 pre July '68 and also from memory normally fitted to V8 post July

Grecian white with unknown insert Premier sedan with black vinyl roof and Black interior.

Not a bad combo.

A = Adelaide
R = Right hand drive

44019 = 44019th HR Prem from Adlaide

Ryan, the A means auto and the R means righthand drive, I had a M R code on mine, it was factory 3 speed manual. The stamping on the firewall (behind the engine) tells you the plant it was built at should be something like HR12345M for a Melbourne buit c

Peter, I think MR means Melbourne / RH drive, as I have early VB tags with BR on them - Acacia Ridge (Brisbane) assembled.

Cheers,

Mick, A=Auto, M=Manual on HR. This continued on in HK in Brisbane only from memory.
