well went to woollies Caltex the other day for some discounted fuel, if you spend $5 in the shop you get an extra 4 cents a litre off. So as I was buying 200 litres it was worth while, normally I wouldn't go out of my way to save 4 cents on 20litres or whatever, anyway to get the extra I bought a couple of tins of Heinz baked beans at $2.95 each. was up at Woolies the next day they had exactly the same beans at 99cents each. Still saved money but boy thats an expensive tin of beans. next time I'll buy a couple of newspapers or something.

Didnt they just say on the news (cause news is always true...haha) that one of the chains had been found to be scamming people, that their fuel discount was a lie? |

I hear what your saying though John, Woolies have a number of

I used to work for a large American computer company. On a training day the trainer said "you don't have to give the customer good value for money you merely have to make them think that they are getting good value for money"

The thing I have noticed a couple of times now at the supermarkets and places like bunnings is that in years gone by if you bought a multi pack of something it was cheaper than buying the same amount of the items separately. Now I have found on somet
