gday i got a 351 clevo and looking at a tunnel ram and the ones ive seen are 302 or windor and just wondering whats the difference or if they all the same
or any ideas

You will definetly need Cleveland tunnel ram set up. When looking, remember that all windsor manifolds (and the so-called 400m engine may be referred to as a clevo but has a different manifold again?) have the thermostat housing at the front of them, the

This not a bad buy. A little over carbed for I assume what you want but good price. possibly a little restriction unless he ran the putty up the runners all the way and not just at the port ends... what a **** load of work to do to a 4v ram.?? weird as bu

I stuffed up and bought one of the 50,000 hei dizzy with coil in cap before buying a 4v ram for my clevo. Oh oh him no fit ,anyway I have the 4v ram going on to 2v heads will i have problems?

hey Landau, I really think u should look at buying a 2v ram, think u will find the 4v runners will be way too big for the old heads mate. unless ya start port matching, and I doubt there is enuf meat on the heads to do a good job ?

gday its me again just wonderin a guy told me a twin carb tunnel ram for the clevo will be to high out of the bonnet to be street legal just wondering if this is true or not and if any one had the hight law (how high its allowed to be cheers

No idea for tassie mate, but victoria is from memory 25mm or half a tennis ball on a forward facing scoop. (except factory scoops). i can cover my rams with a xc cobra scoop.... just which makes it legal to look at. only ran the scoop to pass rwc and took

My mate has a blue xd with a xf front with a big block, tunnelramed ex show car , was in street fords ( hes selling it by the way) and im sure it was street legal in nsw with out scoope.

Im looking at buying a Tunnel ram kit for my 302 cleveland. Which is stock by the way. Am I wasteing my time?
I was woundering if anyone had a good set up for this (what carbs to use? What tunnel ram etc?). I was told to get some 390 hollys.

eerrhh, dumb question probably,,,but what exactly does a tunnel ram do??
eg,,is it a fan,,or superchager thingy, or just uses air pushing thru front opening?

No BCB, there is no trickery to a Tunnelram, just those long runners, cooler air from your air cleaner/s sticking out your bonnet. As for a tunnel ram and twin carbs on a stock 302, that would be a definite overkill.

If I was to put a better cam in would I then beable to run a tunnel ram no problems..?
If so what cam should I run anyone know? Or has anyone played around with a 302clevo with tunnel ram before??
