Last time I conversed with Ben Stewart on this he only had a handfull of HT/G 350 autos recorded. They are very rare today, and I don't think many were sold either.

Thanks for your reply! I have an original HT350 auto monaro but the tank is the bathurst size, could this be factory? And when you & others state small tank are you refering to the normal tank you would get in a 4 door or ? Thanks again D

The big tank has probably been added post factory. Send me a photo of the passenger's side wheel well area showing the filler neck and we'll see. Yes, small tank is the same as the rest BUT you'll need one out of a 5 litre car to get the hump in the front

I have a HK Prem wagon with a 307, four speed and 10 bolt.
It has the bump in the trans tunnels and the boot.
Yes I can vouch for prems getting 10 bolts.

Yes all KTG 307/308 manuals in Belmont, Kingswood, Monaro Monaro GTS and Premier got the 10 bolt, plus the 10 bolt came behind 307/308 Monaro GTS and optional on Belmont, Kingswood, Monaro and Premier with 307/308 and auto. These are quite rare though as

No. Warren is correct. Plus AFAIK they were optional only on V8s, not on 6cyl. Possibly not even optional on 253.

Thats very interesting! I have never checked the diff ratio , I just presumed it was 3.36 like most. Do the hk-g 10 bolts have the ratio stamped around the dust cover like the hq-wb v8 salisburys or is it a matter of removing the backing plate???

As the front floor would have to be modified to fit a saginaw, it is more likely your brother had a manual car with auto engine fitted, rather than an auto car with manual trans, manual tank and manual radius rods.

Especially when you consider how much
