Not the same.

Very different in fact - the height of the VN is a lot shorter, so the VK steering shaft won't reach it.

It also won't bolt up to a VK crossmember, as the mounts are spaced differently.

If you explain what you are trying to achieve,
Cheers,

Mick

Just checking , i picked up a vk roller to use for speedway but have foundout it has a vn k frame and power rack in it. If the racks were interchangable id keep for a spare but as its different i may as well sell or swap it for a vk one.

The VN rack is a much better option (and do-able with a VN K-frame and VL steering shaft).
Throw the VK rack away, or trade it for a spare VN one :-)

Mick

As Mick has pointed out the VN rack and Vl steering shaft, works well. Did this on one of my students car . we used the whole column from the vl as well ( couldnt find a vk light switch ).
