thought when i done a fix-ya-up job on the coolant temp sensor plug it fixed it. the car was running good for a few trips then started playing up again. not sure if its the plug, lead, dirty connections.put a new temp sensor in today. still not running good. put the foot down and it dies and sounds like its flooding.

If you have a multimeter pull the plug off the airflow meter and test the resistance between the no 1 and no 6 pins....dig the placky plug out and adjust it to 375 ohms.

put another air flow meter on. it did run good for a while. maybe it is that plug. do u think that the mixture might need adjusting or the plug itself.

Did you replace the terminals on the coolant sensor plug? Most of the VL plug connections corrode and get high resistance no matter how good it may look. coolant sensor, distributor plug,IAC plug,AF meter notorious for this. cheers..mario Cant reme Edited by user Thursday, 19 June 2008 8:19:19 AM(UTC)
