Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 3/05/2008(UTC) Posts: 22		I was undoing my high pressure line from the power steering pump and the large 1" fitting came out with the oil line. When this came out of the pump a plunger or something like one popped out too. Can anyone out there tell me wich way this goes back into the pump as it fits both ways but the ends are totally different. One end had like a flat surface and the other has like a nut on it. There appears to be a cylindrical shaped rod that fits inside the nut/union for the hose. The rod is hollow to allow fluid thru it. One end of the rod has a smal

Its direction is very important. In order. the spring goes in first, then the plunger (NUT END TOWARDS THE SPRING), then screw in the outlet fitting. The flat end of the plunger butts up to the outlet
