i have a 3.08 salisbury diff off an HZ ute, and it has a worn hemisphere, i.e. the holes for the shafts for the spiders are worn oval
can i use another hemisphere from a different ratio diff to replace the worn one or do i need bits from the exact same diff ?
and can i just bolt it all together and go on my merry way, or will i need to have the crown and pinion gears aligned or reset or something else?
and how does the spreader work? i see the gregory manual calls for it when rebuilding but i dont have one, could maybe make one
many thanks, johnny

I can help with some of the questions:
Any hemisphere form 3.08-4.44 can be used (2.6 & 2.78 are different). Must also be LSD or non-LSD depending upon what you have.
You should be able to bolt it all back together, but not yourself unless you have |
