Fitting a 400 into wb ute with t350 tranny does any one know about what clearance /underbonnet iossues i mught have

shouldnt be any? make sure that you dont use a hi rise manifold unless you want it to come thru the bonnet. a 400chev is the same outside dimensions as a 350chev(im pretty sure)some3 one else here will know more..jim |

Jim is about right. Make sure you use a WB 4 row radiator, cowl and clutch fan.

400 in HQ went ok. A reasonable manifold and carb will run fairly close to bonnet. I used a ramflo triangular filter and fitted no worries. Trying to use standaard 14" round required a drop base for the filter (and robbed about 5-10 horse according to |
