Just put my M22 in tonight whent for a drive when going to 1st the shifter trys to pop backin to neutral and when going to 2nd it is in neutral. I had adjusted 1st & 2nd rod befor putting in. I know I need to rejust the rod but i cant see why theres no 2nd when 1st is under adjusted ? |

Maybe the small lever on the side of the box is loose/flogged out?

Trunds out to be the 3 speed side cover I put on it the 1st & 2nd shifter fork shaft has a different angle to a four speed shaft. Pulling it out in the weekend and have a look then. |

Is the cover the same but the selector fork different?

Cover is the same and so are the shifer fork shaft. Its the detent cams and selector shaft fork that is different from what I can see. |
