Got 78 Marquis. Very nasty vibration from back end. Tried new wheels, tyres, (15 different combinations), tailshaft rebuild and balance, gearbox rebuilt, 14 point suspension check, new right rear axle, engine mounts all tightened...could go on but won't!, Mechanics have had for four months and can't find problem. Only happens when going over 90 kph. Can anyone suggest? Love car so much but shakes the eyeballs out of my skull!

A couple of q's.
Does it have a 9" diff?
Check the housing isn't bent. They do twist quite easily unless they're well braced.
Is you car lowered?
How does the pinion angle look at the diff and gearbox. There should be no more than around 3 de |
