gmh announced it is going to build a forced induction ingine??
they will go broke!! idiots,,
every other car manufacturer in the world is going electric/hybrid/ compressed air
and gmh is going same old same old!!

if you read the whole story its direct injection and will be petrol and diesel with advance fuel options later .The chev volt electric hybrid car will be sold here also with a Holden badge on it as well as a 4 cyl.

Hybrids are a con, try replacing the batteries when they pack up in a year or so, and then you have to get rid of the old ones, more pollution.

I dont see Hybrids as a con at all.
There has been a lot of advancement in battery technology of late.
I can see in the not too distant future fully battery powered vehicles will overtake any other form of Hybrid, bio fuel vehicle in total sales.

very true, but what i am hoping for is for the yoke around our necks of oil to be unshackled,
