Having a problem lining up rear mount on a HG ute.Engine mounts are new and correct sides fitted.also a new hadfield g/box x/member,Extension housing hits on the top LHS bolt on the floor brace. Its possible to move to the right but the lower g/box mount is then off centre.I have had the front crossmember rebuilt with all new bushes and pads etc,is it possible it can be misaligned??I was to understand V8 and 6 front crossmembers are the same,is this correct?? help appreciated.

Mark pardon for not taking the time to log in. Have you seen an auto or saginaw gearbox crossmember they have the top cut out where the mount sits and a plate welded to the bottom so that the trans mount now sits lower by probably 1 inch, I have never fit
