Hi ALl after the advice recieved from the experts I am now looking for a LSD course spline 3:08 diff centre. will take complete rear end, (esp if in HR housing, hehe) but would consider options.

One of these will be pretty rare. The easiest LSD coarse spline banjo to find is normally a 2.78, as this was standard fitment to V8 HK/HT/HG when ordering a 2.78 diff. Most of the LSD's after that were fine spline V8 Torana ones, and often were 2.78. You

coarse Spline LSD's were relatively common in HR at 3.36 ratio and 3.55... so check your wrecker for a complete HR rear axle that LSD then get the crown and pinion from a 3.08 single spinner from a Torana.
