Ihave an old hr wag and lookin to turbo the old gal for ****s and giggles.just wondering if any 1 knows of any 1 or any where that would have info/pics of manafolds etc to give me an idea where to start. thanx

Yep as said there are tons of guys that have followed this path in the past. Avoid the TO4 route for a relative stock configuration as the compressor is to large. (TO3s would be some to think of)

adapt you turbo maybe a t28 or t03 to straight onto your manifold and make your own exaust and run a suck thru type setup. you could do it for about $500 easy. although max boost will be around 10 psi because you cant run an intercooler. this setup is eas Edited by user Sunday, 1 February 2009 9:03:58 PM(UTC)

Itll come down to what you want in the end. ****s and gilggles can pretty quickly turn into a serious build and unless you know exactly what you are doing (and the parts you need and IF they are worth getting 2nd hand or better off being brand new) you C |

A t28, homemade manifolds maybe a webber or 2 SU carbs, low boost easy to tune it wont go bang. Mr void you are doing a blow thru injected setup which is alot more expensive and by far better then draw thru but there is alot more involved in blow thru and |

Yeah, you are right bundybluedog... my only real point was to consider if this will blow out into a serious build as he may as well spend the money up front to do it right.

Alright ive worked out how im going to do it all i need now is a carby that will do the job. Going to run an intercooler up front, so if any 1 has got a carby for sale or know where i could get one would be apreciated
