I have a hx statesman caprice wich i robed the doors off to fit to my hz ute.I intend to have the electric windows in the ute and i was wondering what would be easyest to do.Do i remove all necasary electrical components from the statesman(mamoth job by the looks)and fit it to the hz ute, or do i come up with my own system is it posible? (i do have a little bit of a brain about me)Also is it worth the efort to go for the statesman dash keeping in mind i have to recover some cost on the statesman when i off load it.Whats a raped hx statesman caprice worth lol

You could fit the entire dash and A/C including wiring from the statesman into the ute. Relatively simple to do when they are side by side. Does require some extra holes in the firewall.

The firewalls look a fairbit different.i would have to cut and fit a fair junk for a/c in the hz.My arm lives on the window sill anyway so a/c dont phase me.

Same firewall, just 4 holes need drilling. Statesman dash is a bolt in fit otherwise.

No, theyre the same size. Theres an extra 32mm hole in the middle for the vacuum line and harness and there is 3 hidden overlapping 16mm holes down low for the heater pipes. Aircon evaporator looks bigger but it fits in the same place.
