Can anyone help with this engine number?
(170278712)
Does this relate to a 350 chev?
If so what year & what vehicle would it have come out of?
Thanks............
Also this number (V946240P) relates to 1975 HJ as a VIN No.
Would this be the chassis number?

Looks like a casting or part number to me. Its certainly not like any Chev engine number I am familiar with.
Also looks a lot like a carby number?

The V946240P looks like a Victorian Police number.

Thanks for all your replies.
Much appreciated.
I am currently waiting for an e-mail from person selling
the vehicle with more pics and more info on I.D. and
Engine No. and I will take it from there.
Thanks again for your input.
