Hey Guys
Hoping someone can help me out here I have a 2000 Holden Astra and recently the Air Bag warning light has come on.
Does anyone know what this might indicate and whether or not I need to take the car to a Holden service centre or if I can use any auto electrician?
Thanks for any input.

Any automotive technician who has the appropriate scanner can diagnose the fault.
The most common airbag faults on Astras are the clock-spring & the seatbelt pre-tensioners.

Foegive my ignorance but what are seatbelt pre-tensioners and do you know how expensive this problem usually is to fix?

Seatbelt pre-tensioners are usually part of the buckle assembly between the front seat & the centre console. 2nd hand ones are OK to use, if thats the problem.
Often they need nothing more than having their fault codes erased, so see a tech first.
