It depends upon the box, and where it came from.

That calculator may/will be wrong as not all gearboxes of the same type (eg trimatic) have the same drive gear. So you may need to know what the gearbox came from (by the code on the side for am auto).

A large range of new speedo gears in the correct colours is available at Rare Spares. Check the shop online on this page top RH.SG4023 may be the part you are looking for.

Get the code off the plate on the box. Unless its been rebuilt and the drive gear replaced itll be easy to get the right gear. I assume its a trimatc and not a TH350?

i reckon just stick the pink gear in and give it a go, the worst you can do is have your speedo out by a few ks, and if that bothers you then get the gear lower or higher

most auto shops sell them new still

If you are unable to get the speedo drive correct to have your speedo accurate, a ratio box can be fitted between your box & speedo cable. Once a test run is done over a set mile, the amount of revolutions that your current speedo drive gives is compaired to what your speedo head requires. A small ratio box is then calculated & built to rectify the difference. I have had this done a couple of times with great success. The box is smaller than a matchbox. Make sure that you are happy with your driveline setup prior to having this done. Tyre profile will change speedo accurracy.
