I am looking at a 96 EL? Falcon.
Can anyone please tell me where to find the engine number so I can do a REVS check?

Yes it's on the block sort of directly behind the water pump. Stand next to the drivers side front wheel and point the torch down between the back of the power steering pump and sort of in front of the exhaust manifold and it will be there.

Oh ant the number is stamped onto the block casting NOT a machined area.
