No. HK-HG are Chev 10 bolt. HQ-WB V8, VB-VK 308, A9X and VB rally car are all Aussie 10-bolt. Very different. There are also 4 x centres for Aussie 10-bolt:
2.6/2.78:1 open; 2.6/2.78:1 LSD; 3.08 - 4.44:1 open; 3.08 - 4.44:1 LSD.

You get someone to hold the axle flange on one side & then try & rotate the flange on the other side. If it rotates easily, its an open centre. If it doesnt rotate, its an LSD. If it rotates but its a bit tight, then its a stuffed LSD (quite common). Dr Terry. |

Make sure that the transmission is in neutral, otherwise the tailshaft is locked & you wont be able to turn the left-hand wheel very far at all. Dr Terry. |
