I just got the 2 boot mats and went home to fit them.

In my HG i have the spare wheel retainer bit as well as the spare wheel stop.

Do the RSP mates take these into account or do i have to trim to fit?

Also with regards to the upper fuel tank mat, is it meant to go all the way to the back seat or as this one does, fall short by 3 inches?

The upper fuel tank mat does have the LH wheel arch cut out and this stops the mat from being pushed all the way to the back seat.

Also should the upper fuel tank mat sit under the floor mat or visa versa?

If it helps i can post some pics of what i am talking about

The top mat was moulded from an original and was checked for fitment. The lower one needs cutouts where required as it can also be used to fit a couple of the other Monaros.

I do not know with whom you have had discussions but according to the spare parts book the HG Monaro 350 has two boot mats (section 15.294 in the parts book)

Les,

Thanks for reply re boot mat. As the Auto HG 350 did not have the big tank it cant take a two piece mat. In reference to the parts book 15.264 7433670 is the part number for Auto 37 body styles. it is all sorted now as i have the single mat. I just needed to leave it in the sun for a couple of hours before fitting it
