Hi how much do you shim or space the spring to raise oil pressure on a 6 cyl holden oil pump ? Have shimmed it about 8mm for 40psi at around 4500 revs . Does 8mm sound to much ? or not enough ? Thanks for any help .

Ellerys cover this in the engine section.

40 psi wont be enough for 4500 rpm.
aim for around 60 psi.
