Has any one has experience in fitting aftermarket straight cut timing gears under the cover of an Aussie 302 C . Seems like the method of sandwiching the idler gears between the block a cover is a bit hit and miss. Thinking that may be I should just run a good twin row chain and not bother with the gear set up

sounds like a good idea. The only decent gear drive is the Milodon unit.

For the street, double row chain. Just my 2 cents.

At first. After a while they just start annoying you and everyone else in the vicinity. Especially if it's a daily driver.
