Does anyone know the reason why monaro gts sunvisors are different shape compared to sedans?

GTS get the luxury version sunvisors which are longer and swing right around and cover the whole side of you , and then clip into little clips that are screwed into the inner roof frame . Brougham ones are essentially the same except the passenger side ones gets a Vanity Mirror . Prem , kinga and Belmont are all the same "short type " HK use Golf Ball Grain (except HK Brougham which uses the HT ribbed grain for some reason ) All HT use the ribbed grain . HG all use the Roebuck Grain (except maybe some late commercials that may have swapped over to the ribbed grain after the intro of HQ , but i have nit seen one . Classic Automotive Products will be making the HT ones shortly (long and short , but not brougham mirror type ) , the sheet plastic to make them is finished as is the die , its just a matter of making some frames . We will have Blue , Sandalwood and Black first . HG ones wont be that far away , and HK later in the year when that gets made . Its expensive to make them as each colour of each grain costs $8-10K to run the plastic alone . www.monaromuscleparts.comEdited by user Monday, 22 February 2010 9:25:28 AM(UTC)

Prem is same as King/Belly I always assumed the Monaro ones are longer because the screen is wider at the top, and used in Brougham because they are fancier/more luxurious/better coverage |

Wider at the top ? A Monaro front screen is slightly lower in height than the sedans, so it would be slightly narrower if anything. Dr Terry _______________________________________ There are 3 types of people in the world. 1. Those who can count. 2. Those who cant. |
