Hi,
I was wondering does anyone know if a HT/G Sports dash will slot straight into a HK? If not is there a lot to do to make it fit?
Cheers Ben |

You have to cut away some of the dash. Looking at where the 2 main gauges are, you have to cut semicircular slots into the dash metal for them to fit in

Youll probably end up rewiring most of it anyway, unless you are very lucky and have completely unmolested harnesses. Get a colour copy of the wiring diagram and it might pay to talk to a gauge guru to see if you need to add any resistors etc.

The differences I found were that HK gauge clusters had no earth(black)in their looms, where the HG loom had one.The HG looms had extra gauge lights(grey),but they all branch off the one wire anyway. All the wires in the HK loom go into a plug, the HG ones are all seperate.I hope this was helpful.Cheers,MickG

Hi HKPremier,if you are going to fit autometer gauges in ,definitely get all the sensors/senders with them.Dash Lights are just + and - anyway to your exsisting light loom ,easy as,but the facia is the one to work on ,thatll be a little tricky.
