G'Day,

Motor is out which gives me the oportunity to grab some numbers.

Rams horns
LHS 8932479 GMT
RHS 3855184 GM

Engine 350A18996 there is also T0612

Block 3956618

Intake 3927184

Fire wall HG05979 S (note that the S is very faint)

I'll have a look thru my HG parts book tonight, but thought i would consult the learned masses out there first

A few odd things there. Like a 350A engine number on a 618 block. Is it an original GTS350 auto? Should also have a H5 or H after the T0612. Manifold is right for a HT/G 350.

Most HT 350A were 3932388 or 3932386 and HG 350A 3932388 or 3970010. 3956618 were normally 4 bolt and in HG 350M applications. 2 bolt 3956618 did exist in 350A, just not very common. By the assembly date it's the right block though. The RH exhaust manifold is a HK-HT 307 & 1st type 327, hence the starter motor won't be original to the car. The LH manifold is right for HT-HQ 350 but the number is 3932479. All this info from the guru!

Just to clarify its actually 3932473 not a 3932479 and 3855164 was also used on type 2 327 .
I have Never seen a 618 2 bolt block in HG but if they did it makes sense being the auto low horse equivalent in the US engines .
There is so few around to look at original now its good info to have . So John as i said i may be wrong about your engine , hence why giving info saying its gospel can be trouble .
If you have in fact got the right engine you have done well and its a bonus .
