Hi all,
My ZH will get a hot 390 fitted very soon.
Bit of backlash in the diff though, could be time for a new one
I suspect it runs a 2.89
any recomendations for other ratios?
i think 4.11 is a bit extreme for street use
3.55 perhaps?

4.11's aint to extreme but I'd be working out what rpm the cam works in. If it doesn't rev over 6000rpm go for 3.5's.

your right, I need to get the cam specs...pretty wild cam I'd say considering i'm getting a 2500 stall converter with it
3.5's???
still be good for highway driving or will the revs be too high?

i had a 3.5 in behind my 351 and i found it was reving too much at hyway speed.although i have always liked my engines to rev a little lower as it seems to give them a much longer life and seem to be user friendly.i dont think it makes that much differenc

3.5's will be fine, as 2500rpm histall and 3.5's is a good match.
If you had a 3000rpm histall I'd suggest 3.7's.
3.5 should be about 2800-2900rpm @ 100kph.
I sit about 3500-3600 with 4.11's.
