If you're asking if the number GPA21002 is a VK/VL Group a engine number, then the answer is no.

The engine number will be 2 letters (with V as the first one), followed by 6 numbers.

thanks for that mick
on the drivers side of eng is A9L97121002002.88 whith lots of dots
in between and 21002 is on the head's as well, i was given these no
over the phone
he said the eng was out of a VL group A looks like no eng no and the car was written off so he,s trying to find out what the nunbers meen
i know a bit about xu1,s but this is new to me

Is that stamped into the RH pad, or cast?

My guess on the 21002 is serial numbers from an engine reconditioner, as their are no serial identifiers put on heads (only a casting date).

he said the long numbers are stamped on driver side of engine and
gpa21002 on other side eng i asked him is there any casting date,s
on the eng he is going to have a better look at eng
