Hey There, Recently purchased a 1968 HK GTS for our family. I have questions about the Numbers, and you guys seem to have all the wisdom :)
I have also read with interest as much info as i can trying to sort the I.D/History of the car, but i think i am just getting more confused and doubting my purchase. Big tag Body is HK80737-35727M Trim 1150-12X-red goya Paint 567-1704-silver mink Little Tag 80737KJ0144*** Firewall HK35999M
If it is a 307 i have heard of a second speedo cable hole under the wiper motor, something about the boot??? and for the auto/manual a hump in the rhf passanger floor???? Is there pictures of this any as a reference. what casting number would i be looking for???? the one i have doesnt make sense to me it should start 39****** is this correct.
Thanks so much in advance.

Ok thanks for the reply, i have just crawled over this car trying to find any number i can and also a tranny leak, just tiny....
The casting number is 3914636 M 3, sorry i was confused with the i.d number. Then there is the intake number 3927184 GM 4 with C 189. An there is also what looks like a clock on the other side of the engine , 10 dots with an arrow to the 1 on the inside and a dot on the outside on the 10??? not sure what that means.
Would you like me to send you the i.d number..???
Thanks so much for the help.
I am new to this its all exciting.
