Hi all
I have two queries for the astute fastlane reader.
First, I have put my single light front end back on the HJ and have hit a hurdle with the front lights.
I have the retainer cups for globes but cant work out how the spring on the top left hand corner is installed to link the cups with the radiator support?
I am hoping that someone has photos of the correct set up or can describe how it goes.
The second question i have is for a friend. He has a strong modified 253 which he is pulling out to replace with a 350 in a hq wagon.
If the motor is in good nick and pulling strong, what sort of bucks would he be looking at?
Thanks in advance.
Mark

i THINK on the springs, that there is a small hole in the rad support, your spring should have a hook and and a flat end, the flat end gets put threw this small hole.
should be able to put the straight bit in first then it will hook upwards leaving the spring hanging from the panel
sorry its hard to explain

Thanks for that guys.
Turns out that i had the wrong retainers....quick trip to Old Holden wrecker and all better.
Car looking much better with a single light front end instead of premier....
